Les Rescapés is the fruit of a project lead by La Transformerie, a nonprofit organization that raises awareness about food waste and reduces it by proposing ways for grocery stores and fruit stores to salvage their unbought produce.

  • Made by hand in Rosement-La-Petite-Patrie in Montreal from fruits recuperated from grocery stores, with the goal of reducing food waste.
  • Ingredients : Apple, sugars (sugar and brown sugar), lemon juice, water, pectin, spices (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg).
  • Format : 250 ml

How to appreciate it?

  • Accompany it with a roast pork or cheddar cheese.
  • In your muffin recipes or on a piece of raisin brioche.
