Moisson Montréal is the largest food bank in Quebec, specializing in the collection and sorting of foodstuffs.
Mayrand Entrepôt d'Alimentation supports its actions by offering, every week, food that is still edible, which is then redistributed to people and organizations in need in Montreal and the surrounding area.
Supporting urban agriculture with the CCHM
At Mayrand Entrepôt d'Alimentation, we believe that eating well should be accessible to all. That's why we support the Cuisine Collective Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (CCHM) in its urban agricultural farm project, whose mission is to promote the right to healthy eating for all.
This farm enables fruit and vegetables to be grown locally, in a short circuit, and offers the community fresh, accessible produce. It's a great way to bring produce closer to the table, while supporting solidarity initiatives.
