Farmhouse cheese made of thermised whole cow milk.
Beige-orange wrinkled rind and butter-coloured paste, soft and creamy. Strong, rustic, buttery aroma. Flavours of cream, and hazelnut, with a vegetal note.
The expression Pied-De-Vent is used in the Magdalen Islands to refer to the sun's rays breaking through the clouds. It was believed that these rays of sunshine were a sign of strong winds.
